Knitting & Stitching Shows, Autumn 2012

So the Knitting & Stitching Shows have come and gone again.  This year I shared a stand on London with my friend Sue Dove, brilliant artist from Cornwall.   It was great fun this year, we met loads of lovely people and stocked up with goodies for the next year!

Busy Sunday!
It was a horrible long, wet and flooded drive to Harrogate but there was a warm welcome from all the locals.  Again, loads of lovely, interesting people to talk to, it was a very busy show.

Cowslip Christmas Fair, Launceston

So, the weekend before last was the Christmas Fair at lovely Cowslip Workshops near Launceston.   Absolutely the best Christmas Fair I've ever been to with so many stalls and a treat around every corner.   Textile artists, potters, knitters, crafts, vintage goods, slate and basketware, a wonderful bookmakers (not the betting kind!), and much, much more, all topped off with Jo's amazing Christmas decorations everywhere.  A real treat.   Lots of lovely visitors from all over Devon and Cornwall and much further afield.   And of course the wonderful food in that amazing restaurant...
These delightful ladies bought 3 of my hats in the space of 15 minutes..!
